Position Summary Micron is seeking an experienced Equipment Engineer II to support CMP operations in our 300mm semiconductor manufacturing facility in Manassas, VA. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing advanced wafer fabrication equipment to improve tool reliability, yield, productivity, and cost of ownership. The successful candidate will work closely with process engineers, technicians, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to resolve equipment issues, lead improvement projects, and support high-volume manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Maintain and optimize semiconductor manufacturing equipment for high-volume production. Troubleshoot equipment issues using structured problem-solving methods such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis. Support tool installations, qualifications, upgrades, and process integration activities.
