Linux System Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic System Engineer (Linux) with DevOps and CI/CD experience to help our growing R&D Engineering team and manage our expanding compute server infrastructure used by our global R&D teams for chip design. This is a mission-critical role and an opportunity to do deeply impactful work. We will trust you with: - Infrastructure Lifecycle Management: Setting up and maintaining Linux-based compute servers and desktops/notebooks, and providing end-user support to our engineering teams; - Scripting Automation & Deployment: Design, implement, and scale automated OS deployment and configuration management frameworks (Ansible, Cobbler, Uyuni, FreeIPA) to minimize manual intervention and ensure consistent system state - CI/CD & DevOps Integration: Collaborate with software engineering teams to bridge the gap between development and operations, specifically by integrating and enhancing GitLab CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery - Distributed Storage tuning: Architect, maintain, and optimize Ceph (CephFS/RBD) distributed storage…
