Job Summary The Equipment Engineering Manager 1 is responsible for leading a team of Equipment Engineers and Technicians to achieve world-class equipment performance, manufacturing excellence, cost competitiveness, and people development. The manager ensures equipment reliability, safety, quality, and operational efficiency while driving continuous improvement and supporting business objectives. Key Responsibilities 1. Equipment Reliability & Manufacturing Excellence Own equipment performance metrics including: Availability (MA) OEE MTBF MTTR Cost of Ownership (CoO) Ensure equipment stability and manufacturing readiness. Drive TPM and preventive maintenance strategies. Lead equipment recovery and escalation during manufacturing interruptions. Partner with Process Engineering to improve tool capability and process stability. 2. Operations Management Deliver daily manufacturing support to achieve output targets. Manage excursion response, chronic issues, and tool bottlenecks. Ensure compliance to operating procedures and engineering standards. Optimize capacity and throughput performance. 3. Quality & Risk Management Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions. Lead risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and follow-up. Support audits and quality system compliance.
