Senior Engineer - Firmware Development (SSD)

The Senior Engineer, Firmware Development (SSD) supports the development, validation, optimization, and debugging of high-performance SSD controller firmware for volatile and non-volatile memory solutions. This role executes firmware design and testing activities, performs failure analysis and issue isolation, and contributes to firmware quality, reliability, performance, and power-efficiency objectives. Working with cross-functional engineering teams, the Senior Engineer provides technical contributions across the product development lifecycle while mentoring less experienced engineers and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Main Responsibilities Develop firmware IP subsystems for SSD products to meet performance, endurance, capacity, functionality, quality, and reliability requirements. Execute firmware development, integration, bench testing, debugging, and validation activities for SSD controllers and storage products. Perform root cause analysis, failure triage, and defect isolation; document findings and support corrective actions.
