CAD/EDA Tools Automation Engineer

Job Details: Job Description: About the Organization Intel's Foundry Technology Manufacturing (FTM) is seeking a talented and motivated CAD/EDA Tools Automation Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and debug software tools, flows, and methodologies used in design automation and by cross-functional teams in the design of hardware products, process design, and manufacturing. You will play a critical role in enabling engineering productivity by building robust, scalable, and efficient automation solutions that support the full hardware design lifecycle. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and debug software tools, flows, and methodologies used in design automation environments. Capture user stories and requirements from internal stakeholders and translate them into actionable technical solutions. Write both functional and test code to ensure high-quality, maintainable software deliverables. Automate build and deployment pipelines to streamline tool delivery and updates. Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing of software tools to validate functionality and reliability. Develop and maintain scripts and automation frameworks to support physical design, place and route, and DRC verification workflows. Collaborate with hardware design, process design, and manufacturing teams to identify automation opportunities and improve design methodologies. Support the administration, deployment, and maintenance of CAD software and EDA tool infrastructure.
