SoC/System Architecture Director - MPU& MCU

As a System Architect you will be responsible for system/product architecture development for microprocessor & microcontroller portfolio. You will work across hardware and software engineering teams to design robust solutions that meet the demanding requirements of power-efficient heterogenous computing, media processing, and communication in industrial and automotive segments. This role requires a deep technical understanding of MPU and MCU System, SW & HW architecture, Applications/Solutions Engineering, and system integration. Responsibilities: Drive the definition and development of MPU & MCU system architecture, ensuring alignment with market trends and industry standards. Work with product marketing to understand customer requirements and use cases and translate them into detailed specification for Industrial IOT, Secure Connected EDGE Computing, and Automotive products. Define scalable and efficient computing architectures, including multi-core processing and memory hierarchy. Own key performance indicators for programs and drive optimization. Design and integrate security mechanisms, including secure boot, cryptographic accelerators, and trusted execution environments. Collaborate with software, hardware, and firmware teams to ensure seamless system-level integration of MCU components. Develop strategies to optimize performance, energy efficiency, and thermal management while maintaining reliability and scalability. Contribute to industry standards and drive innovation in MPU and MCU architectures.
